Glenn to Play in Sweden
Former St. Lawrence standout Ryan Glenn has signed with IF
Troja/Ljungby (Sweden) for the 2008-09 season, the team announced
Monday.
Glenn heads to Sweden after spending the bulk of the 2007-08
campaign with the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League. In
63 games with Peoria, the Port Coquitlam, BC native registered
five goals and 11 assists. He also played 11 games with the Alaska
Aces of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), amassing one goal and
eight assists.
Since concluding his collegiate career with the Saints in 2003-04, Glenn has spent four seasons with teams in the AHL and ECHL. In 159 games at the AHL level, Glenn has compiled nine goals and 28 assists competing for Hartford, Syracuse, Lowell, Milwaukee, Providence, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Peoria. Glenn has played 103 games in the ECHL with Charlotte and Alaska, totaling 10 goals and 37 assists.
As a member of the Saints, Glenn scored 18 goals and assisted on 38 tallies in 145 collegiate contests.
