CANTON -- Occasionally, Mike Hurlbut is reminded of that single slap shot.
Most recently, it was Chris Wells, associate head coach of the St. Lawrence University men's hockey team, who asked Hurlbut about the one-timer he blasted in overtime in the Saints' national championship game 20 years ago.
Instantly, the shot appears in Hurlbut's mind like a Polaroid that's been buried beneath a stack of family albums.
