Nashville Summons Peverley

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled former St. Lawrence forward Rich Peverley from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Peverley is being recalled due to an injury suffered by David Legwand in Friday night's overtime win at Calgary. Legwand has a deep bone bruise on his foot and is expected to miss this week's games.

Peverley, 25 (7/8/82), has six points (2g-4a) in 21 games for the Predators, with his most recent of three recalls this season coming Jan. 15 - Feb. 16. Originally signed as a free agent by Nashville on Jan. 17, 2007, Peverley also has 54 points (14g-32a) in 45 games for the Admirals in 2007-08, including eight points (4g-4a) in three games since March 1.
