DeVergilio Competes at InLine World Championships
St. Lawrence junior forward Kevin DeVergilio recently
represented the United States at the 2008 International Ice Hockey
Federation InLine Hockey World Championships held June 21-28 in
Slovakia.
The championship concluded June 28 with Sweden beating Slovakia for
the gold medal and Germany defeating the United States for the
bronze medal.
DeVergilio, a native of Sterling Heights, Michigan, registered four
goals, including one power-play and one shorthanded tally, in six
contests. In his junior campaign, DeVergilio scored eight goals and
added 17 assists in 35 contests with the Saints.
