Macdonald Named Plus Performer for December

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati Cyclones third-year defenseman Matt Macdonald, who played at St. Lawrence, has been named Paysource USA ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for December. He shares the award with teammate Scott Reynolds and South Carolina defenseman Nate Kiser. All three players were +12.

Macdonald, a native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, added a goal and five assists for six points. Currently on loan to the Rockford Ice Hogs (AHL), Matt has been even or better in 24 of his 29 games with the Cyclones this season. Macdonald has a plus-minus rating of +16 which ties him for ninth in the ECHL.
