Madill Joins Wranglers
LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Wranglers ® announced that they
have been assigned All-Star defenseman Mike Madill, who played at
St. Lawrence, by the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey
League.
The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Quad City of the AHL
and the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League.
The 25 year old, who attended training camp with Calgary, has one
assist in two games with Quad City.
In his rookie season in 2006-07, the 5-foot-11 and 192-pound
defenseman was selected to the ECHL All-Star Game and had 43 points
(4g-39a) and 60 penalty minutes in 67 regular season games and
three assists and 14 penalty minutes in 10 Kelly Cup Playoff games
for Texas while also playing in the AHL where he had one assist in
seven games with Houston.
