RPI to Skate with Public at Plaza

State Plaza
TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer men's hockey team will skate at the
Empire State Plaza in Albany this Wednesday, January 25, from
6-7 p.m. The public is invited to join the Engineers for skating,
to get autographs or to take photographs. There will be free
posters as well as a free child's ticket available for
participants.
The rink, which is set up and run by the Office of General
Services, is open every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., though the
rink is closed from 3 to 4 p.m. for maintenance. It is free to the
public and ice skate rentals are $3 for children under 12 and $4
for adults. There is also a full-service snack bar for
people to enjoy and a skate lounge with lockers.
