RPI Hopes to Learn from First Half

TROY — “Forget the first
half of the season.”
It’s rare when a sports team chooses to totally adopt that
motto but so it is for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s
hockey team.
The Engineers open th second-half of their season at 4 p.m. today,
meeting 17th-ranked UMass-Lowell in the University of Connecticut
Classic tournament. Army and UConn clash in the second game at
7.
