Ice Hogs Regain Services of Pirri
The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned former Rensselaer forward Brandon Pirri to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Pirri, 20, has registered two assists and a +3 rating in four contests with the Blackhawks this year and paced Chicago with four goals and five points in four games during the 2011 preseason. The Toronto native also leads the IceHogs with 13 goals, 31 points and a +6 plus/minus rating in 28 AHL tilts.
