Pirri Heads Back to Chicago
ROCKFORD, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled former Rensselaer forward Brandon Pirri from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
Pirri, 20, has registered two assists and a +2 plus/minus rating in two contests with the Blackhawks this year and paced Chicago with four goals and five points in four games during the 2011 preseason. The Toronto native also ranks seventh in the AHL with a team-high 31 points and tenth in the league with a team-best 13 goals in 28 contests this season, and paces the IceHogs with a +6 plus/minus rating.
