Engineers Hope to Spoil Notre Dame's Big Night

 TROY – “I can’t think of a better time to play Notre Dame.”

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute head hockey coach Seth Appert, tossing aside the team’s growing injury list and the fact that the Engineers haven’t scored a goal in over 132 minutes, made that statement several times this week.

The Engineers don’t need any additional motivation when they take on the 6th-ranked Fighting Irish tonight at 7:35. They need a few goals and —soon, hopefully — they need their injuries to heal.
