Higgs Returns to Lineup
The following article featuring Rensselaer forward Brock Higgs appeared in the January 21 issue of the Troy Record.
TROY — Brock Higgs wasn’t jumping up and down or
anything of the sort when he left the ice after practice
Thursday.
Oh, but it was easy to tell the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
center is excited and jubilant to be returning to the Engineers
lineup tonight.
Just 22 days after his neck was sliced open by a teammate’s
skate 900 miles away in Huntsville, Ala., requiring him to undergo
emergency surgery, Higgs will be in the lineup (likely starting, so
RPI fans can give him a standing ovation).
