D'Amigo Honing New Skils in AHL

ALBANY -- Several of his former RPI hockey teammates were on hand Sunday as Jerry D'Amigo played at Times Union Center for the first time as a professional.
They may not have believed what they saw.
D'Amigo, who had 34 points in 35 games in his only season at RPI, was playing on a checking line. A leader on the U.S. team that won the 2010 World Junior Championship, scoring five goals and five assists in six games, he is now cast in a defensive role for the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.
