Lord Earns Contract with Oklahoma City
The Oklahoma City Barons have signed former Rensselaer
forward Andrew Lord to a contract for the remainder of the 2010-11,
Barons general manager Bill Scott announced.
Lord, a 6-3, 200-pounder from West Vancouver, BC, signed a PTO
with the Barons December 27. With Oklahoma City,
he has recorded four assists and served 41 penalty minutes in 17
games played. Prior to joining the Barons,
he was played in 26 games with the Wheeling Nailers, where he
scored 19 points (7-12-19) and served 74 penalty minutes.
“We are very pleased to announce that Andrew
Lord has signed a contract with us for the rest of the
season,” said Scott. “Since Andrew signed his PTO
after Christmas he has brought a lot of energy and hard work to our
locker room. His hard-nosed game, willingness to stick up for
his teammates and his outstanding work in the community have made
him a valuable player to our organization.”
