McPherson Moves to ESV Kaufbeuren

ESV Kaufbeuren (Germany) announced the signing of former Rensselaer standout Andrew McPherson.

McPherson joins ESV Kaufbeuren after spending the 2010-11 campaign with Hannover. In 48 games with the Indians, he scored 11 goals and assisted on 18 goals for 29 points.

Prior to his time with Hannover, McPherson spent two campaigns with Riessersee (Germany). A native of Dauphin, Manitoba, McPherson finished as the third-leading scorer with Riessersee in 2009-10 compiling 20 goals and 47 assists in 57 regular-season games.

McPherson netted 12 goals and added 27 assists in 41 games with Riessersee in 2008-09. Prior to joining Riessersee, McPherson skated one season with Straubing (Germany) and two campaigns with Landsberg (Germany).

McPherson skated for the Engineers from 1998-02. He competed in 132 collegiate contests, scoring 26 goals and adding 30 assists. McPherson’s most productive offensive campaign was 2001-02 when he scored six times and set up 14 goals in 35 contests.
