RPI Returns to League Play
The following article appeared in the January 7 issue of the Troy Record.
TROY — All league games are important. Theoretically, all
22 ECAC Hockey league games are of equal importance, most coaches
will tell you.
However, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s games with rival
Clarkson and St. Lawrence this weekend might rate a little higher
on the importance meter.
The Engineers, ranked No. 10 nationally with an 11-4-3 overall
record, enter the weekend with a 3-3-0 record in ECACH play, the
sixth-best record in the 12-team league.
