Kearns an Excellent Choice for RPI Ring of Honor

TROY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s hockey program was in trouble in back in 1964.

Head coach Rube Bjorkman had left abruptly after just one season and the Institute was having trouble finding a short-notice replacement.

Former star player Garry Kearns came to the rescue.
