Engineers Ready for Playoffs
The following article appeared in the March 3 issue of the Troy Record.
TROY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hockey coach
isn’t worried about his offense. And he’s not worried
about his seniors.
His team, as a fifth seed – and No. 16 national ranking,
looms as a clear favorite over last-place Colgate in the
preliminary round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs.
While it’s been well chronicled that RPI scored just one
goal (in regulation play) in each of its games with Colgate,
Appert’s not worried.
