The Winnipeg Jets looked down Highway 1 for their six-round selection at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Winnipeg's new NHL franchise selected Portage Terriers netminder Jason Kasdorf as their sixth-round selection, 157th overall. The Winnipeg-born Kasdorf will also be the Jets first homegrown prospect.
The 18-year-old goalie, who spent the past two seasons with the Terriers, was in attendance at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, when he was selected.
