BUFFALO -- The World Junior Championship is familiar ground for Jerry D'Amigo, but that doesn't mean things are the same at this year's tournament as they were a season ago.
Now a veteran of the event, now a professional, and now part of a U.S. team that has the role of the hunted as the defending champion, the 19-year-old forward from Johnson City is having a different experience at the event hosted by the United States at the Buffalo Sabres' HSBC Arena.
D'Amigo is cutting his teeth as a professional with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies this season, which has a different look than the college level last season with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
