TROY — College hockey coaches don't care for 'what-if'
meisters any more than pro football coaches like Monday Morning
Quarterbacks.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Seth Appert concerns himself
with 'ifs' and 'could'ves' even less than most. Still, the
fourth-year RPI mentor knows full well if his team hadn't
surrendered the two extra-attacker goals it has this season, the
Engineers would be sitting in a four-way tie for first place in
ECAC Hockey.
Appert was almost reluctant to admit that he was aware of that
fact.
