TROY — Brandon Pirri, Jerry D’Amigo. Jerry
D’Amigo, Brandon Pirri.
That was about all Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hockey fans
had been talking about for well over one year, and with good
reason; the two standout freshmen were expected to instantly jack
up the Engineers’ talent level and they’ve done so.
It was almost, however, as if Marty O’Grady, fellow freshman
and a linemate of Pirri and D’Amigo for most of this season,
is a forgotten man.
