RPI Announces Television Schedule
TROY, N.Y. – For the fourth straight year, the Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men’s hockey team will have home
games from the Houston Field House produced and broadcast live on
Time Warner Cable Sports. TWCS will air four games with the NHL
Network picking up two of those live broadcasts for coverage across
North America.
The first game televised is a week from Saturday, October 23, when
the Engineers host Niagara University on Family Weekend at 7pm. The
other games slated for broadcast are December 11 against Boston
University, January 29 vs. Yale University – the 34th Annual
Big Red Freakout! – and February 12 vs. Cornell
University.
The games against BU and Cornell will be aired on the NHL Network
beginning at 3:30pm. Those games were originally scheduled to begin
at 7pm but were moved up to accommodate the broadcasts.
The four-game schedule is:
• Saturday, October 23: Rensselaer vs. Niagara at 7pm on
TWCS
• Saturday, December 11: Rensselaer vs. Boston University at
3:30pm on TWCS & NHL Network
• Saturday, January 29: Rensselaer vs. Yale University at 7pm
on TWCS
• Saturday, February 12: Rensselaer vs. Cornell University at
3:30pm on TWCS & NHL Network
All four games will appear live on Time Warner Cable Sports,
Channel 3 in most areas in the Capital Region. Replay times will be
scheduled for each game and all games will be archived on Time
Warner Sports On Demand (Channel 1003), accessible to all Time
Warner Cable Digital Cable customers. For more information on Time

Tim Heiman ’10 will handle play-by-play duties, while Kevin
Broad ’07, a former Engineers' captain who was a volunteer
assistant coach the last two seasons, will provide color
commentary.
