Back to the Ponds

COHOES — “We're not here to practice, we’re here
to have fun,” Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hockey coach
Seth Appert said on Wednesday.
“A little pond hockey; back to the basics,” said RPI
captain John Kennedy. Appert and the Engineers had a little fun,
playing some ball hockey at Van Shiack Pond in Cohoes during the
afternoon.
A couple dozen adult fans, including Cohoes Mayor John McDonald
and a couple classes fro Van Schaick elementary school, watched the
action.
