At the end of the longest road trip of his young pro career, Jerry D'Amigo is coming home.
The 19-year-old Binghamton native and his Toronto Marlies will visit the Senators at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena Saturday night for the last of eight straight games away from Ricoh Coliseum, and the AHL rookie's first in front of his hometown crowd as a professional.
"It's going to be a lot of fun," D'Amigo said earlier this week. "Talking with a lot of family and friends, they're more excited than I am, but it's going to be great, just to play at the arena where I grew up watching hockey my whole life. Hopefully I'll do well."
