Polacek on INCH's Preseason All-America Team
Inside College Hockey is proud to announce its 2010-11 Preseason All-America teams. We prefer to see college hockey as a national game—thus our first-, second- and third-team All-Americans, plus our All-Rookie Team, are not divided on regional lines.
The selections were made by Inside College Hockey editors and staff, with input from media and coaches from around the country.

Many observers feel Rensselaer's hopes of vying for an NCAA Tourney bid vanished when Jerry D'Amigo and Brandon Pirri left for the pros this summer. But Polacek, the reigning ECAC Hockey Player of the Year, is back and as RPI coach Seth Appert said earlier this week, "He made [D'Amigo and Pirri] go; they didn't make him go."
