Blackhawks Assign Pirri to Rockford
The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned former Rensselaer
forward Brandon Pirri to the American Hockey
League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Pirri, 19, made his National Hockey League debut on Saturday
night, logging 8:56 of ice time against the Detroit Red Wings at
the United Center. The Blackhawks’ second selection (59th
overall) in the 2009 National Hockey League Entry Draft also
tallied one goal, one assist and posted a +1 plus/minus rating in
two preseason tilts with Chicago this year.
