D'Amigo Anxious for Encore at World Juniors

Jerry D'Amigo is making a return to the international spotlight, but this time he'll be able to shine in his home state.
D'Amigo, who was born in Binghamton and attended Johnson City High School, was one of 29 American hockey standouts invited Tuesday to Team USA's camp for the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championships, which will be held in Buffalo from Dec. 26 through Jan. 5.
D'Amigo, 19, won a gold medal at last year's event in Saskatchewan, Canada. The title game was played in Saskatoon.
