Engineers Need Second-Half Run

The Record
TROY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s hockey
team’s players and know the vaunting task before them.
The Engineers have 15 ECAC Hockey games remaining and to attain
their lofty goal of finishing among the top four in the 12-team
league, the probably need at least 19 points among those possible
30.
Even to finish in the ECACH’s first division — sixth
place — the Engineers will likely need eight victories; or
seven with a couple of ties.
