D'Amigo's Road Trip Diary -- Day 4
The following article, written by former Rensselaer standout Jerry D'Amigo, appeared on the Toronto Marlies Web site.

Hey guys,
I don't know if you guys saw last night but I got into my first pro tilt. Colton Gillies from the Aeros
(he's listed as 5 inches taller than me) and I got into it, but I
gave him a run for his money for my first fight ever.
I took a decent shot to my eye and now it's pretty sore. I had a
tough time sleeping on my left side last night, but I'm just happy
when I woke up that it wasn't swollen shut. I look kind of like

We ended up coming back after falling behind 2-0, but lost in the
shootout. I wish I was out there to help out the boys.
We got in at 3am last night to Austin so I slept in a bit and then
went to the arena for the morning skate.
I think tonight I'm going to focus more on scoring goals and less
on fighting. Hopefully we can pick up the two points against the
Stars tonight and then head off to Oklahoma City
tomorrow.
Alright guys, catch you tomorrow.
