ALBANY — Hey, sometimes a sixth-seed in a 12-team hockey
tournament can get a hot goaltender and rip right through to the
championship.
Allen York is ready to be that hot goalie for Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute.
The 6-foot-4 sophomore, fresh off a Second Team berth on the
All-ECAC Hockey team, and the rest of the sixth-seeded Engineers
host 11th-seeded Brown on Friday night (7) in Game 1 of an ECACH
preliminary-round series.
