RPI Looks Forward to Next Meeting with Union
TROY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's 3-3 tie with
Union on Saturday in Lake Placid wasn't the Engineers' most
physical effort of the season, but it was a rugged game.
And, it was a precursor of heavy battles to come, says Rensselaer
coach Seth Appert.
Union tied the score on an extra-attacker goal with 30 seconds
remaining and afterward, Appert was asked what affect the deadlock
would have on the two ECAC Hockey games, which will be played Dec.
12-13.
