Eizenman to Play in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, NY – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed center Oren Eizenman, a former Rensselaer standout, to an American Hockey League contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Eizenman, 25, appeared in 61 games with Stockton (ECHL) last
season, finishing third on the club in scoring with 59 points (21g,
38a) and 61 penalty minutes. He also skated in seven games
with Milwaukee last year, tallying one assist and two penalty
minutes.
The 6-0, 190-pound center has appeared in 46 combined AHL
games with Milwaukee, Worcester, Manitoba and San Antonio since
2007-08, recording nine points (2g, 7a) and 10 penalty
minutes.
In addition, Eizenman has compiled 139 points (51g, 88a) in
128 combined ECHL contests with Fresno and Stockton and represented
Fresno at the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Eizenman skated in 129 games for
R.P.I. (ECAC) from 2003-07, registering 99 points (37g, 62a) and 90
penalty minutes.
