RPI Turning the Corner?

TROY — Fans of the RPI hockey team have been waiting
patiently for signs of a turnaround in the program, but few
probably expected it to come in the middle of the season.
Yet suddenly the team that was becoming an ECAC doormat is one
that few opponents are anxious to face these days. RPI, which lost
10 of 11 games from Nov. 8-Jan. 3, has been in position to win six
of its past seven league games and nearly pulled off an unusual
road sweep on its annual North Country trip last weekend.
Has RPI finally turned the corner under third-year coach Seth
Appert?
