SASKATOON, Sask. -- Rensselaer forward Jerry D’Amigo scored two goals, added one assist, compiled a plus-3 ratio, and was selected U.S. Player of the Game in the Americans’ 7-3 victory over Slovakia at the 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship. Team USA overcame an early two-goal deficit in its first game at the opening round of the championship.

D'Amigo netted his first goal at five minutes, 39 seconds of the second period to give Team USA a 3-2 lead. He notched his second goal and completed the night's scoring on a give-and-go play with Danny Kristo. D'Amigo assisted on Kristo's second-period goal to account for his three-point evening.
