Pothier Refreshed and Ready for Action
The following article featuring former Rensselaer standout Brian Pothier appeared June 22 on the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) Web site.
It’s easy to understand why Brian Pothier can’t wait
for the 2009-10 NHL season to get underway.
Last year, at least in terms of his hockey career, couldn’t
have been any worse for Pothier, who was limited to just nine
regular season games.
Pothier was sent to the sidelines during a game against Eastern
Conference rival Boston on January 3, 2008, finding himself out of
action for 14 months with a concussion.
