TROY — The age-old college hockey cliché that all
games are crucial at this time a year is an exaggeration.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute had one last week — and won
it over Colgate.
The Engineers have two more such games this weekend, at St.
Lawrence and Clarkson, two teams battling them for a homeice bid in
the preliminary round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs.
