Eizenman Earns AHL Loan
STOCKTON, Calif. -- The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL
affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and
American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced former
Rensselaer forward Oren Eizenman has been loaned to the Manitoba
Moose of the AHL on a professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Eizenman, 23, earns his third recall to the AHL on a professional
tryout agreement (PTO) this season and has skated in 16 career AHL
games with San Antonio, Manitoba, Worcester and Milwaukee, amassing
three assists and eight penalty minutes.
The 6-foot, 180-pound forward finished third place in voting for
the CCM Tacks ECHL Rookie of the Year award and scored two goals in
the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game at Stockton last season, additionally
leading the Fresno Falcons in scoring with 66 points (27g-39a) and
pacing the team with 27 goals in 53 games while adding a +12 rating
and 28 penalty minutes.
Eizenman, who has 14 points (3g-11a) in 13 games with Stockton and
Fresno this season, was signed by the Thunder as a free agent on
Feb. 20 and tallied an assist in his Thunder debut last night
against Utah.
Eizenman's PTO agreement is on a 25-game tryout basis (maximum)
with Manitoba.
