TROY — When Seth Appert benched both Patrick Cullen and Alex
Angers-Goulet for Wednesday night's non-league hockey game at
Niagara, it had little to do with the fact that the two sophomore
left wingers weren't scoring.
It was more about the fact that neither has played well
consistently this season and Appert had grown a little impatient
with them.
“Healthy scratch,” Appert said, “for their
wildly inconsistent play. Nothing to do with discipline,
they’re just not playing hard. And yes, you can quote me on
that absolutely.”
