D'Amigo Progressed Quickly Into Draft Prospect

The following article featuring Rensselaer incoming freshman Jerry D'Amigo appeared in the June 2009 issue of USA Junior Hockey Magazine.

Without any hesitation, former Atlantic Jr. Hockey League star Jerry D’Amigo mentioned his parents as being the most influential people in his young, yet flourishing, hockey career.

Approximately three years ago, D’Amigo enjoyed success as an under-age player with his hometown Binghamton Jr. A Senators team.

After an adjustment period of a month or so, D’Amigo began to feel more comfortable and, as a result, began to produce and open up some eyes, with the help of his teammates and parents.
