TROY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute players have no problem being a huge underdog in this week’s ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series at Cornell.

After all, No. 11 seeds are virtually always a big underdog when they go up against the No. 2 seed.

The 11th-seeded Engineers (9-25-2 overall), fresh off RPI’s first playoff series victory in five years, travel to meet the 12th-ranked Big Red (18-7-4) at Lynah Rink at 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday night. If a deciding Game 3 is needed, it will be Sunday night at 7.
