The Record
TROY — Mathieu Angers-Goulet, team captain, is probably the
only player on the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hockey team
who’s more soft-spoken than last year’s captain Jake
Morissette.
He leads by example — and the glaring example he exhibits is
a perpetually strong work ethic.
Angers-Goulet readily admits to both pride and relief —
personally — that the Engineers, seeded 11th, ended their
10-game postseason last week and then posted their ECAC Hockey
Tournament series win since 2004 by sweeping sixth-seeded
Dartmouth.
