Engineers Add Depth on Blue Line

TROY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hockey fans have
been fretting about the many holes on defense head coach Seth
Appert will have to fill over the next couple years.
Well, Appert and assistants Jim Montgomery and Shawn Kurulak have
filled some of those holes with one recruit and two transfers.
Sixteen-year old Patrick Koudys, a big (6-foot-4, 190-pound),
tough physical defenseman, has given Appert a verbal commitment for
the 2011-12 season.
