Basiuk Closing in on Return
The following article featuring former Rensselaer standout Scott Basiuk appeared in the December 9 issue of the Yorkshire Post.

Defenceman Scott Basiuk is counting down the days until
he can return to competitive action and end the most frustrating
spell of his career.
The 29-year-old Canadian has been missing from the Sheffield
Steelers line-up since the middle of September after sustaining a
shoulder injury which later required surgery.
This week Basiuk returned to the ice for some light training for
the first time since suffering his injury and is hoping to be back
in contention for a place in Steelers' line-up by early New Year.
