Alford Bounces Back with 45-Save Effort

PORT HURON, Michigan — The last week seemed like an
eternity for Jordan Alford.
After getting lit up by defending champion Fort Wayne in his first
professional start, the Flint Generals rookie goaltender was eager
to get back between the pipes.
"Very eager," Alford said. "You try to play as much as you can
whenever the coach gives you the nod. You go in and help the team
however you can."
