Tapper Leaves Iserlohn
ISERLOHN – Iserlohn Roosters forward Brad Tapper, a former
Rensselaer standout, has left the team for health reasons, the team
announced December 19.
"This decision is very hard for me, because I love this sport -
but it is the perspective of doctors," said Tapper. "I would urge
all fans and the public to respect the decision, which I shared
with my family.”
In 17 games with the Roosters this season, Tapper netted six goals
and added nine assists. He amassed 56 minutes in penalties.
Tapper stated that he continues to feel as part of the Iserlohn
Roosters Organization and hopes, at least in the coming season, to
continue his contract.
"Brad has our full support, we hope that his recovery progresses
quickly," said Roosters manager Karsten Mende. “We must all
adhere to Brad’s wishes for privacy.
It is unknown whether Tapper will return to Canada.
