Rampage Sign Eizenman for Second Time
SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Rampage announced today that they
have signed former Rensselaer Oren Eizenman to a professional
tryout offer (PTO).
Eizenman signed a PTO with the Rampage November 25, 2008 and
tallied two assists in four games before he was released on
December 7, 2008. He rejoins the team after playing in two games
with the Fresno Falcons (ECHL) since his release on Sunday.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Eizenman began the season with the
Falcons where he had played in 10 games recording three goals and
10 assists. Eizenman also appeared in three games with the Manitoba
Moose of the American Hockey League this season.
The 23-year-old played most of the 2007-08 season with Fresno
recording 27 goals and 39 assists in 53 games. He also appeared in
six playoff games with the Falcons posting four goals and one
assist. Last season, with the Worcester Sharks (AHL), he tallied
one assist in seven games and appeared in one game with the
Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).
Eizenman, a second year professional, recorded 37 goals and 62
assists in 129 career NCAA games with the Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute.
The Rampage take on the league-leading Hershey Bears tonight at 7
p.m. This will be the first meeting between the Rampage and the
Bears in the team’s seven-year history. The Rampage are
currently on a four-game winning streak.
