Former Everblades forward Kirk MacDonald has almost a point per
game thus far this season for the North Division's Reading Royals,
coached by former Blades assistant Jason Nobili.
MacDonald has three goals and three assists in seven games for
Reading, sent down after one game with the AHL's Providence
Bruins.
The 24-year-old played 43 games with the Blades last season,
scoring 14 goals and 20 assists while adding 34 penalty minutes.
The former Carolina Hurricanes prospect joined the Blades after 11
games with the Albany River Rats.
