Eizenman to Showcase Skills in AHL
Fresno, Calif. -- The Fresno Falcons announced today that rookie
center Oren Eizenman, who played at Rensselaer, has been
loaned to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey
League.
Eizenman leads Fresno this season in goals (24), points (52),
power-play goals (10) and game-winning goals (5). His 52 points are
tied for first among all ECHL rookies, and he ranks second among
first-year players with 24 goals.
The 22-year-old was honored by the ECHL as the Rookie of the Month
in December, and as Player of the Month in January. Eizenman also
represented the Falcons at last month's ECHL All-Star Game, where
he scored two goals in the National Conference's 10-7 win.
Eizenman is the second Falcon to earn an AHL call-up in the last
three days, following Kenny MacAulay, who was loaned to the
Rockford IceHogs on Wednesday.
The Falcons return to action on Friday, hosting the Utah Grizzlies
at 7:30 p.m. It's Camp Out For Cans Night, presented by Sierra
Vista Mall and Wilks Broadcasting. All fans are encouraged to bring
non-perishable food items to the game to donate to the Community
Food Bank.
