There have been actual studies that have shown that hockey players
tend to see a quick spike in their performance shortly after being
traded. Eventually, though, their numbers will fall back to
earth.
So Reading Royals coach Karl Taylor is showing cautious optimism
when it comes to recent additions Marc Cavosie and Brett
Hemingway.
"Good guys and very dedicated to what we're doing," Taylor said.
"So far, so good. We're happy with that trade. We feel we've filled
a need.
